Graylines blog post: today

it was today. i lived on this day. although i don’t honestly know why, but i did.

london was ravaged yesterday. it made me think of how i feel so disconnected from the rest of the world sometimes. i want to understand, to experience, to live … their pain, their anguish, their grief, but not really. for in all reality that is something that we all encounter within our own spirits. we maintain such battles in our own spirits that are many times much more traumatic and devestating than a bomb. maybe not in the moment, but over time such conflicts can rip apart our lives in ways that we never will know.

life is beautiful,
